245 Standard - humbucker wiring confusion

Hi guys

Does anybody know, or have an idea why my humbuckers on my 245 standard are wired using different wiring – as in one humbucker is using different colour wires to connect than the other?

The neck pickup appears to have the following:

Red and Black connected and taped off
Green to ‘Hot’
White and bare braid connected to Earth (back of pot)

Bridge pickup appears to be this:

White and Green connected and taped off
Black to ‘Hot’
Red and bare braid connected to Earth (back of pot)

I’m thinking of changing the pickups out for some vintage humbuckers, which obviously state that the same wiring (hot, earth and which are joined 'n taped off) should be used, if not using any switching etc.
The PRS standard 245 uses no such switching, coil tap etc,. It just has 2 volume and 2 tone (one for each humbucker), which is why I’m so confused with the wiring they’ve used

Any clues appreciated

Cheers all
Bri

I thing the neck and bridge pickups use opposite colors for the 'hot' lead.
Wonder why they did that ?? Seems over complicated. It's almost like they're running each pr of coils opposite than than the adjacent pickup (neck vs. bridge)

I think that's a G&B (import pickup manufacturer) thing. Maybe @garrett knows.

To be honest, the stock wiring shouldn't matter if you're replace the pickups - just follow that maker's color scheme.

Now, as to why the pickup makers couldn't just all standardize...¯\_(ツ)_/¯
