24 S2 Standard 24

My first post, so go easy. 2024 Standard S2 24 fret. This has 58/15 LT's. Position's 2 and 4 on the 5way, very noticeable volume drop. Any insights?

Nothing is broken. Is to be expected. In those 2 positions, one or both of humbuckers are in coilsplit mode, so there is less output from the pickup vs full humbucker mode. Additionally, two pickups combined In Parallel like that versus In Series, have less output anyways. For example, even positions 2 and 4 on a SSS pickup configured Strat is famous for having less output than positions 1, 3 and 5, for that In Parallel reason.

Appreciate your input. I guess I'm not a fan (yet), of the 58/15 LT.
It's a PRS and very playable, but the pups lack life.
