20th Anniversary McCarty Question!

Hey all, i've been looking at this 20th Ann. Artist Package McCarty that i'm seriously considering buying. It has a full rosewood neck with the "20th" TRC but it does not have the "Birds in Flight" inlay that come on the 20th Ann. models.

I'm wondering if this is genuine? Possible that not all the 20th Ann. guitars came with the special inlays?

Much appreciated!
 
20th Anniversary guitars were different than the guitars not ordered with the package. Non package guitars did not have the same T/R or inlays or Brazilian boards!

The 20th Ann. "Birds in Flight" were not available on the McCarty model. They were only offerred on the Custom 22 & 24, Standard 22 & 24 and the Singlecuts.
 
I am about to buy a 20th Anny Custom 24. IT DOES NOT HAVE THE FLYING BIRDS!!! IS this a fake?

I am probably gonna buy it anyway...

The "20th Anniversary Package" (birds in flight + etched aluminum TR cover) was an option on certain models built during 2005 (or ordered during '05, some were built/delivered into '06 and beyond). There are many, many '05 guitars that have the regular birds or moons/dots and the all black TR cover.
