Makes no sense that they get rid of the McCarty Singlecut 594, which was a popular 22 fret PRS with the 58/15 LTs, and then come out with this. If anything, they should have done a Custom 22 instead.
I dunno… for the people wishing it was a stoptail, the SE/S2/Bolt trem is practically a fixed bridge, you don’t really wanna wiggle that thing too much IME/IMO/YMMV.
custom 22 is the PRS that got me into PRS. I prefer the sound of the 22 neck pickup position. The outline birds are a nice touch too. I also prefer the 58/15 or even the 57/08 over the 85/15 for most everything. I think its great. Expensive and the colors are underwhelming.. but it doesnt give me the itch.
Well now, I'm in. I think this is a strong contender for the guitar to take the place of my S2 10th Anniversary Custom 24. As much as I like the look and sound of that guitar, I'm not crazy about the Pattern Thin neck, even after having played the guitar quite a lot over the past year. I'll take one in Carrol Blue.
