2021PRS S2 Custom 24 35th Annyversari "hum" issue

Hi Guys
I'm new here! very happy to become a PRS entuisat!, just purchased a brand new S2 Custom 24 35th annyversari... Love the neck fit and overal quality ...

I'm concerned about the "hum"noise when the guitar split mode is in "single coil/humbucker" both combinations both pick ups, or neck pick up in "single coil" or bridge pick up in "single coil" modes ...the noise actually increases if you crank the gain up of your amp!. This s2 is the one that comes with two mini togle switches like Paul's guitar ! So ypu can get 8 total modes . very cool idea...

But if the switches are for both pick ups in "single coil" or "humbucker" mode, the noise goes away! ... I can say that the noise is comparable to my Mexican Strat but when compared to my PRS CE 24 (2004) the s2 is very noisy! ..yes I know the CE has a difderent circuit design! but is all I can do for now...

I want to know if someone out there has a similar guitar and have noticed this particular noise . Perhaps is a tecnical defective or bad componenet in mine!

I guess! However when both pick ups are in “single coil” mode the “ hum” goes away! ... perhaps I got to get used to it...

Sometimes single coil pickups can be reverse wound relative to each other, so that when combined, they’re hum canceling - that’s probably what’s happening.
