I am strongly considering FWB for my next Grainger 5 purchase, but I don't want to get burned like I did on the Black Gold Burst finish in regards to the natural binding. Can anyone confirm that a 2014 Grainger Bass ordered in Faded Whale Blue would actually have the natural raw maple edge "binding" treatment, and not a wraparound finish like my BGB Grainger has? I asked when I ordered the BGB for it to be finished with the natural binding, and was told it would be no problem by my dealer. But when it arrived, the finish was wraparound with no exposed edge binding, and the PTC said they couldn't even do it as a refin because the stain wouldn't come off clean enough to get a nice looking natural binding. I don't want to be disappointed again, I want to be SURE this time that the finish I want will actually come with the natural binding. Anyone have reliable intel on this question? Thanks!
