Hello,

I picked up an 2012 Paul Allender PRS SE last year used for a great price. It's in great condition. And I'm very proud of it.

I've never really done much with the pull-push pots. However, I recently starting playing around with them while jamming.

I've noticed that when I pull the tone pot, I get that single-coil sound. Clearly different from when it's pushed in.

However, when I pull the volume pot, I don't hear much difference. I've used them in various different positions and just don't hear much difference when the volume pot is engaged. The volume knob itself works.

What should I be expecting with the volume push-pull knob?

I thought that the Allender model only had one push/pull on the tone knob.
Maybe if the Vol knob is push/pull it might be a modification, and not wired for that.
The tone push/pull originally split both EMG pups if I recall.

I would be expecting the volume knob to come off in my hand.

Are you suggesting this is an inferior product?

But I found my answer on Guitar Center that does state the Volume push-pull is for the neck, and the tone is for the bridge. Can't share the link as I'm less than three posts in.

Next I just need to repair it.
