Hi everybody,

I am new to the forum, this is my first post.

I just discovered PRS last year and man, I am a fan now.

I just got a "new to me" 2009 Core Starla Stoptail with the outlined birds inlay. Gloss Mahogany. This guitar is a beauty. I really like the spankiness of the pickups. Does anyone know what pick ups are those? The 24.5" scale is a joy to play.

I am not sure how to clean the fingerboard. Also, one of the pup covers (bright silver/chrome) has mild tarnishing on it. What can I use to clean that?

Thank you.

Any metal polish will clean the pup covers. "Flitz" is a common one...

Unless the fretboard is really grungy, there is nothing that needs to be done...

PRS fretboard cleaner works well. I use Gorgomyte on mine, but only every couple of years, if needed.
