Hello, I recently acquired a 2009 SC245 and have a question. Obviously, there are 2 volume knobs and 2 tone knobs. I noticed that only 1 of the tone knobs is a push/pull pot. Should the other tone know be a push/pull as well?
Thanks for any assistance.

Yes I believe so, have you opened up the control cavity to verify?

Actually, this isn't correct.

The SC245 (24.5" scale length), SC58, and the Singlecut (25" scale length) did not come stock with a pull-up or push-pull pot. They came with standard volume and tone pots, and still do.

I think I've had one of every model SC since they came out. ;)

So you have a guitar that was modified. It might only have one pull-up pot if that's what someone did to it.

Correct. The S2 SC's do have #7's that split, and the Mira has a 245 pup that was wired to split, but the SC configurations were not wired for it.

Actually, some SC245s did slip out with the push-pull. My 57/08 SC245 has it, and it's only on one tone.
