2007 McCarty wiring mod?

I have a 2007 McCarty and was wondering if it could be wired for , both pickups on=out of phase (gary moore/peter green), and a push -pull on the volume to bypass the circuit?
The guitar has McCarty pickups, 3 way toggle and push pull on the tone pot for coil tap.
Or maybe I could do without the coil tap on the tone knob push pull and get the out of phase setting from there?
Good idea/bad idea?

With those pickups, you'd have to do it physically out of phase, i.e. flip the magnet on one of the pickups. Either that or replace the leads on a pickup to do electrical out of phase.
