Considering the 4 that are on Reverb right now are all north of $2k, that's a good price. Looking at what recent selling prices have been, it's right in the middle.

Lower than 1500...LOLOL sorry, guys. Blame the coffee...
But Condition is key with Black guitars...also, if it's a McStandard (all mahogany), its usually a couple hundred cheaper.
Is there White (maple ) binding around the top (meaning maple topped hog body)???

I’d say no more $12-1300 for black and moons.... but that’s just me. In the long run a couple hundred bucks shouldn’t be a dealbreaker if it’s the color you love.

I found a sc245 for the same price in tobacco sunburst with birds . I might buy that and forget about the McCarty . I already have McCarty with a full rosewood neck . I don’t have a sc yet so maybe that’s the way to go. Decisions decisions decisions

If you already have a McRosie (I do too!), the 245 is a no brainer IMO. I would love a 245 like the one you described.

Normally, I never say no to an extra screw, but that's all kinds of wrong.
