Hey all. I recently upgraded from a CE22 to a Standard 22 from 2001 and has tremonti pickups. I was having issues with the output jack so I soldered a new one with new braided to the volume pot lead and ground. I decided to clean up the old solder on the pots and start fresh as it was quite a sloppy job. However I have no volume control now and wondering how the guy had it wired as it appears to be the exaxt same. I checked everything with a multimeter and not getting a reading between the 1st 2 posts on the volume pot. None of the leads are grounded that shouldn't be either. I have a 5 way rotary switch. But now I noticed he used the pickup green wire to ground and the white/red/black to the 5 way switch. Are the red and green wires from the pickup supposed to be unused in this situation?
