I’m looking at a 2001 single cut and was trying to see if the pups were the stock 7’s, the only thing that they say on the back is “neck” and “bridge” there’s not even the PRs embossed logo on the back (can’t remember if they did that back then or not) anyone have any ideas?

All of the CORE #7’s that I’ve come across say “PRS 7 TREBLE” or “PRS 7 BASS”.
I personally haven’t seen anything different from the OG Singlecuts.

If It Sounds And Plays Good And The Price Is Right Go For It And Play The P1$$ Out Of It!

I’ve got an 2003 artist package single-cut trem. The pickups are original and aren’t identified. Not sure if they miss the process occasionally, but that’s mine. FWIW, awesome guitar. Has been my favorite for years.

I know nothing about the single cuts so I didn't post here because of that but, that's weird there's no identification.

My 02 custom 24 has PRS stamped on the baseplate and a sticker on each pickup identifying them as VB and HFS. I believe my 97 CE does as well.

My 2001 had #7s with the brass(?) baseplate with the PRS logo imprinted. The stickers on the bottom were black and gold saying "PRS 7 Bass" and "PRS 7 Treble."
