2 Channel H Stand-by Jewel light out

Greetings. Recently read a post about no sound and jewel light on a 2 Ch H. My amp seems to be working fine but the stand-by light went out after just a few hours of use. I rarely use the amp so the light isn't of much concern, but I was a bit confused by the post and it's reference to problems with no sound. Is my situation normal, just a burned out light, or should I be concerned that it is indicative of a bigger problem. Not sure why a light burned out on new amp but an easy replacement I guess.

The jewel light on my "H" occasionally doesn't come on. I learned that unscrewing the jewel and pushing on or trying to rotate the bulb using gets it to light. I haven't had to replace the bulb yet in two years. Try this technique, if it doesn't work, perhaps your bulb has burned out - but those usually last forever.
