2 Channel H - Noob Question

Hi All,

As the title states, I have a total noob question. Tonight I fired up my 2 Channel H at practice (hopefully the link works below) and I noticed the jewel did not light up on either standby or on. Both channels are working just fine so I figured I would live on the edge and proceed to play. I have never experienced this one before so I figured I would reach out to the experts before I contact PRS customer service. Any thoughts?

Probably just the bulb, it’s a little incandescent I believe. Should be able to unscrew the jewel cover and take it out to see what it is and find a replacement.

I recently replaced one on my HXDA. Andy has it exactly right.

There should be an indication on the bulb itself what type it is. If memory serves I got a pack of bulbs for about $5.

If you look up amplifier pilot light bulbs you'll find them. I think it's the same type fender uses or used to use, a bayonet type #47 bulb, where you push it and twist to release it (there's a little spring under it to maintain the connection).

But do check your bulb to make sure you're ordering the right one.

Yup, as has been stated. I had mine go out and replaced it on my H. Easy peasy.
