Hard to find any info on this series. I have a Proto with a Burled Maple top. Pickups are just labeled PRS (stamped) with no tag.

Were these Braz RW Board?

Neck seems like ribbon mahogany or something like that.

Any info would help.

I'm not familiar with an "original" series. The original PRS guitar was a "Standard" guitar, meaning it was all mahogany. The custom was called a custom because it had a maple top. Is that what you mean? By 1994 they were just called the Standard and the Custom.

No...actually the guitar says ORIGINAL SERIES on the headstock and was a NAMM piece. Also says ORIGINAL SERIES in Cavity

Could it be a prototype for the PS program?
A prototype McCarty or Custom 22 would have earlier serial numbers of 92 or 93...

I believe this is one of the guitars before the GOTM PROTO PS Guitar. I was watching this one on Reverb. Great score! Beautiful Guitar
