The nineties, you say? How 'bout a "dragon" but without the dragon (i.e., first-year Custom 22 w/D1 pickups).

My first PRS, I custom ordered a 1991 PRS Special with gold hardware and birds. Was trying to order the blue foil finish, but they thought I wanted the metal-flake. I was a bit dissapointed, but being on the other side of the country by the time I took delivery, I was more excited about how much of an amazing guitar it was compared to my RG 550 at the time.

This was basically my only guitar until 2006, played it to absolute death, the frets are basically gone.

The finish has held up pretty well, it's got the requisite dings on the pointy parts of the headstock, the fret position dots are turning green, and there are some significant scratches on the back, but it's still glorious.
