Let me first say, I swiped the headline, the word "rock" is not mine.

I lose stuff all the time but never a guitar, have a look here.

I have lost my first electric guitar, even though I never gigged with it and I was not using it anymore, so it should have been somewhere at home. But it didn't.
It was a truly awful Danelectro which I repainted from sparkle black to white with black spots, to resemble a cow mantle. Sadly, attached to it there was the hand-made strap that my mom made me, using the fake cow-mantle that she was using to make a Woody's (Toy Story) costume for my little sister.

With such a touching story, I'm surprised my guitar didn't make it to the top-10 list...
