Hi guys. So i’m thinking about to get me a PRS with a wide thin neck. Right now I’m playin on a Gibson with a asymmetrical slim taper neck. My question is how much thiner is the wide thin neck then the slim taper? I can’t test it at my local music store because they don’t have any PRS.

I just measured my 1999 IRW McCarty as having a thickness of .815 in at the first fret. Nut width is right around 1.677 in. I have a .89in wide fat brw cu22. Nut width on that is at1.69 in.
