trem set up

I have a SSH that I really like, but had a couple of questions about the floating trem. Is this floating enough? I can pull up a pitch to about almost a half step (but not quite). Also are the bridge saddles supposed to be this high? It looks alittle funny to me, but my guitar is intonated...

Just had this set up but when home and playing through moderate gain my b and e strings sound completely dull with 0 harmonics. E through g sound fine (g may be a little dull) but b and e are lifeless. Suggestions? No buzzing or noticeable intonation issues.
