    Modding S2 for middle strat pickup?

    Has anyone just routed out the area in between the bridge and neck pickups on an S2 so you could switch the selector to a 5-way and put like a strat middle in? Think it's a good idea?

    Silver Sky - pick ups noisy?

    Are the Sliver Sky pick ups typical noisy single coils or do they have any kind of noise cancelling built it? On a related note, what are the best noiseless pickups for a Strat style guitar?
