Changing stock pick ups on PRS USA S2 Custom 24
Hi mates, I wanted to change my guitar's neck stock pick up /PRS 85/15 "S“ /, so I desoldered the old one and swapped it with DiMarzio DP152FBK Super 3. I tried to solder the new wires to the same places as the old ones, but it makes a lot of noise, especially when splitting. Am I wrong...- roy76

Noisy and microphonic pickups in early Special Semi-hollow
Hello, I have an early Special Semi-hollow, back when they were called custom. It has the 58/15LTs in it. I have never messed with the guitar as far as electronics or that stuff. I also perched the guitar from Peach Guitars in England so I have no reason to think that I got a lemon or something...- Riley Bushman
