Hey guys!
I have finally come over from the dark side and picked up my first PRS... and it's beautiful! It's a Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 in Antique Violin Amber. It's a 1999 which is the first year of production for the short-lived left-handed core series. I will post another post in a few days...
Hi, all. I've just obtained my 1st U.S.-made PRS guitar. As I posted in the introduction thread, it is a 2011 Custom 24. I found it from a guitar listing site in Japan.
Yesterday, I went to a used Guitar shop in suburb of Tokyo to look at it. The Custom 24 had the lowest price in the category...
Had an unfortunate incident with USPS destroying my PRS Mira, and had to get a new guitar.
Drove out to Wild West Guitars in Pasadena yesterday and picked up this beauty. Had a great experience—nothing but good things to say about them as a dealer.
So here we have a 2018 CE-24 from their...
Got my first PRS the other day (technically bought at the experience, but needed to be shipped). Custom 24 in either Dark Cherry Sunburst or Autumn Sky? Not sure about the color maybe someone could clear that up for me. Is a joy to play though and sounds great.

About 6 months ago I bought this PRS SE Bernie Marsden in Trampas Green.
Ever since the Bernie was announced I've been kind of curious, as I grew up in the same area as Bernie and he was one of my earliest guitar heroes - I could listen to his albums at home and then bump into him in the...
hey guys im looking to buy a used Studio 22 trem version. Was wondering if people that have one could give me a review of how you like it? If the volume between pickups is balanced as well as tone as ive heard that the NF pickups are muddy in the neck. Would love to hear what you guys think of...
My first PRS guitar arrived today! How does it smell so good? Is it the case? It's the most comforting thing!
I'll show first, then tell.
Here's the story: While I was visiting family for the holidays, my brother-in-law and I were headed to Guitar Center to window shop but then he...
Apparently, I'm not! NGD... delivered this morning. I am finally the very proud owner of my first Core model - McCarty in Charcoal Burst. What a wonderful instrument! Very resonant, and the 58/15's are so smooth and "airy". No point in keeping the 2017 SE C22 - it won't get played again -...
So, we spoke about her and she finally arrived yesterday.
I gave her a strings change because I did not love what she was wearing and then presented her to the Gang.
Meet Bonnie :
And the Gang :
I've been spoiling myself the past couple weeks. In the process of moving so I'll post a true NGD once things get settled but I wanted to drop this little preview of my new toy*.
*Sergio would be proud of my photography skills.
What do they call the day before your new axe arrives? HELL!
Anyhow, here are a couple of the Sweetwater pics of my new SE 245. Can't wait to get my hands on it! It will look so nice next to my blue Custom 24.
New here, thought I would post a family photo.
PRS Brent Mason > Sonuus Wahoo > Boss OD20 > EHX C9 Organ > Bad Stone Phaser > Boss DD500 > Digitech Polara > Sonuus Voluum > TC Polytune > 1983 Mesa Boogie MkIIb (with foot switches for reverb, EQ and clean/dirty channels).
At any time I have...
Hi, here are some pics of my first PRS. Brent Mason model in "Powder Blue". I am really happy with it, I play in a covers band that does a really broad range of stuff. It was a guitar that I agonised over getting, as it meant selling an amp and guitar to finance it but I have no regrets...
Got something on the way! The first hint I'll give is that after several years of owning SEs and an S2, it will be my first Core PRS. I'll post pictures once it arrives.
So, as I mentioned in another thread, I bought my first PRS! It's a 2016 PRS SE Custom 24 bought new with a pretty big discount in a store about 80 miles from me.
Here's some pics. Don't know if the exporting from Lightroom screwed up the color profile... from my browser they look overly...
