Well folks, I promised a video, albeit slightly delayed.
Given there is so much history (and great stories) behind the first Modern Eagle, as well as some great archive footage I found on the internet, I made this video in more of a short film (I daresay documentary) style vs. a typical guitar...
I was able to score this beauty off of Reverb for a killer deal. Sounds and plays great. And just look at that board! I swapped the original speed knobs with lampshades, and plan to use this as my live guitar going forward. I can’t believe the consistency in PRS guitars. I’ve played a ton of...
I just bought a used (barely!) 2017 Private Stock 24:08 with a Brazilian rosewood neck. I've owned several PRS with rosewood (Brazilian and Indian) necks but this is the most pronounced grain I've felt under thumb - and I'm a touch concerned about it.
Does this need any special treatment...
First post here! Just acquired a drop dead mint ME1. Took the photo below yesterday! The serial number is 4 88845. PRS Customer Service said the guitar is from early 2004. I can’t find a single other 2004 ME1 with a serial number that’s earlier than mine; does anyone have one that’s earlier than...
Hi folks
I have a 2018 core DGT in purple. Neck feels great, frets feel great, the neck pickup sounds beautiful and it plays like a dream. But I just can't get along with the bridge pickup as it's too trebly for my taste and doesn't suit palm muting and high gain. I'm not a metal player per se...
Finally took these out and got shots with an actual camera instead of just a cell phone. Made a slight difference....lol. Taken on a bright, sunny day...but in the shade....no flash....with a Cannon T4i with the kit 18-55 lens.
Thanks for looking.
As you all know, I have a limited run guitar with a Brazilian rosewood board and headstock veneer. I purchased it used and got most of the case candy with it. However, being as though it has the Brazilian board and is clearly marked "Brazilian", would I need a CITES document to travel with it...
Yes, this guitar again.....lol.....but I was bored so I went outside, with a real DSLR and a backdrop of dying ivy for a few photos. Wood grain and abalone look much better in natural light anyway ;)
2004 CU22 limited run Brazilian
And a few booty shots.....
Thanks for...
I usually like a girl's top to be off. But this Brazilian girl is a 10 with her top on. (Only a PRS nerd will understand... lol)
Hat is from my luthier at J Guitars.
Got bored so I took a cell phone shot....just because.
Sometimes, there is no more beautiful a girl than a Brazilian. :-D
I am sorry I don't have much of a variety of PRSs to post, but here is what I got. Hope you don't get bored seeing her.
Thanks for looking.
Hi, friends! I'm new guy here, but not new in PRS ;) Over than 5 years I'm fan of this beautiful guitars), i wrote many articles and reviews. I had over 100 USA made PRS, and now I have over 20 beauties in my collection =) And 2 are my favourite PRS - both are Custom 22 (Artist and Wood...
