What is the lowest you set your action and neck relief to on your PRS?

I am recent PRS owner; bought a SE PRS custom 24. Because of the excellent fretwork and great sound. The lowest I ever went at the 12th fret is 1mm on treble and 1.5 mm on bass side (0.1mm neck relief) What's the lowest you set your action and relief to?

Brand new 10 Top. No mater what I do it feels unplayable - is it me or did the factory rush it out?

My first post is going to be a long one but I want to give you guys a much important information as I can. Background In late April 2022 I ordered a Custom 24 McCarty Burst through Sweetwater. There was one customer ahead of me who placed the same order in July 2021 and was still waiting...

Bad action after changing strings, 1st and 2nd frets of A, D and G strings fretting out

I recently changed the strings on my SE Custom 24 and the action is so low that the 1st and 2nd frets of the A, D and G strings are fretting out. The first five frets on the low E and frets 3, 4 and 5 on the A string are buzzing as well. I did not have this issue before I changed strings...

    Silver Sky Fret Buzz

Hey everybody! I got my Silver Sky not too long ago but it seems to have some excessive fret buzz. I've adjusted relief to match specs and have taken the action even a bit higher than factory, but I still have buzz all up and down the neck. This is especially bad on the low E/A strings, where...

    I've been so wrong (Setup)

Since I received my first PRS (a 509), I believed that PRS guitars were somehow created to have a "vintage" feeling with an action a little bit high which seemed ok with a chunky neck (sorry, I've been raised with a IBZ Wizard neck in hand...). So, I kept a little relief in the neck and...

Bridge height + neck relief tightness

Hello all, I have two PRS, a CU24 and a CU22. Both with tremolo bridge, strung with 10-46s and tuned E-Standard. I bought both second hand/used. When I got the CU24 I got used to a stiffer string tension and didn't really bother with the bridge height. I left it as I received it because the...

Setting up PRS Mira 24 fret for slide

Hi I am new to PRS and the group. Just purchased a used Mira 24 fret and can't believe how easy it plays and how it sounds! I can see a new PRS in my future. I purchased this guitar for slide playing, and would like to put .011s on it and raise the action for slide and fretting. I have never...

    S2 Mira Setup

So, I've been tinkering with my new S2 Mira this week and found that I got it with a very high action than what is suggested on their website. I've been looking at it and tweaking almost everyday this week. Just wondering, is it common for the action to go back up once I tune the guitar? Coz I...
