A few years ago I wanted a CU24-08. I ended up ordering an artist package solely so I could get it in Makena Blue, so that's my vote. But Northern Lights & Aquamarine are also fantastic.

Sounds great! I made the mistake of looking at the sold listings on Reverb. Found a 2021 Yellow Tiger from Wildwood, way before I was looking :(

I hadn't given them a second thought since the initial PS release. Then a few weeks ago out of nowhere, I had to have one! :D

I've gotten the bug for one recently. So far I haven't been able to find the right finish; really hoping a Yellow Tiger will spring up somewhere.

I just saw today that Orianthi would be at the PRS booth & performing as well. That's tempting me, but it's a 6 hour drive. Dunlop on everything. So far they've held up fine to the rigors of basement/bedroom playing :p

That stinks. Obviously I have no idea how the manufacturing works, but I assumed ours would be getting built at the same time with any other 24-08s that had been ordered up to that point. Surely it'll be coming soon. But thanks! I'm sure it'll be great when it arrives!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It's great to finally have it. I'll keep that in mind. So far I have been returning it to the case after I finish playing. :eek: Ya know, I think I'll proceed with caution & take my chances! :D

I'm really hoping the AX8 gets an update in the near future. Stick some of the AxeFX III tech in a floorboard model, hopefully with the cool scribble strips & switch lights of the new foot controllers, and I'd be all over it!

The only thing I changed from standard artist package specs was the hybrid hardware, so the neck is mahogany.

Yep! It's jet black. Even better than I had hoped!

Looks great! I've always loved the Navarro model.

I ordered in March & was told to expect a 12 month wait. But I got a call a couple weeks ago that said now they were estimating mid-August. Hopefully there's a mess of 24-08s about to roll out of the factory & we're both in it!

I've got an Artist Package 24-08 on order. Last I heard it should be in mid-August. Much better than I was initially quoted so I'm hoping it holds!
