Sadly true. All the worship guys sound the same now. They have what I call "protestant church standard" sound.
Twice I've seen David Grissom post a "non-standard" DGT. Once with soap bar pickups.

I played a very nice Gibson LP R6 Murphy Lab at CME a few weeks ago. Very nice but it was also 8K.
I just saw this. I think I'm in trouble. Houston is a couple hours away....
I found the 594 to be thicker around the nut area than a LP.
I played a bunch of both at CME on Saturday and liked the 59Lp neck profile down low...
DGT neck is fantastic. Good luck finding one to buy though.
Only other one that comes close is the Rewind JPP neck.
I believe TAD started doing a current repro run of these recently.
