I want an Alex Lifeson SC-594 with a Floyd/Piezo. What the heck Paul? It's about time since his contract with Gibson must be over. I had 2 of those guitars, and they were both early models and the electonics buzzed. There were rumors that they had issues from cheaping out on the ots or...

Not only are you right, Paul just bottlenecked every other back order.
You know what is crazy? Dealers are still getting 2018-2019 594s without the TCI and tuner updates. The guitars are outdated, in a sense, and you would think they PRS would update the 2019 backorders.
If you hold the guitar in that way, and your above 43 degrees latitude, you can faintly see John Mayer's image in the Aurora Borealis. However, you have to have the Lunar Ice version.
Mary Kaye is a see through blonde, not pink.
As far as Alder goes, I agree that Ash is better than Alder for see through finishes. However, many Silver Sky's bodies have 3 pieces of Alder out there, which in general wouldn't be good for any see through finish per say.
I hate 3 piece bodies...
Well, if you heard me play, you would tell me to get off the planet. LOL
BTW - saw your post on EVH. I feel the same way about him and his Wolfgangs.
It seems to me that people forget that he bought a scrap swampash body, put a broken pickup in it along with an old trem. Stuck an after market...
I have a NAMM CU24 in a Mary Kay finish. Love it. Grant you, PRS has the best finishes EVER. I also agree with John about sunburst guitars. However, I would still love to see the Mary Kay finish / White blond finish.
BTW - I also have a Mary KayCE-24 from 2006??? It is in the "Vault"
BTW - I have a few more but didn't take them out at the time. Notice the CU24 Mary Kaye finish as a one off for NAAM in the late 90s.
Swampash and Maple rock.
To all. Not knowing the physical circuit, I would not put EL-34s in there. The heater current is quite a bit higher for an El-34 than a 6L6. You may get by for a bit, but, I would call Mat King at PRS.
That said, 6V6 or 6CA7s should work as a lot of the newer versions have better tolerances.
BTW - In the 1970s, a man found a strat body copy that was going to be trashed and painted it with Automotive spray paint. He then then put an aftermarket strat neck on it, put an old 60s tremolo with a half working Gibson PAF pick up in it, didn't know how to wire it and so once he got it...
Maybe, a couple of people got together and decided to inflate the price and post them for sale on purpose. Then, people would think 3k or 3.5k might be a great deal and hence keeping demand high. I am just saying......
