I had one for a while. Great amp, but complicated. The older I get, the more I like simple. No I have a Mark V 35 and a Fillmore 50. I kept the Road King 2x12 and rewired it with new speakers to use both sides at 8 ohms.
Just found this. I have big hands, but fingers are on shorter side. I find the Pattern Vintage more comfortable. Thinner necks cause my hands to cramp. The 594 has the shorter scale length which also helps. Something to consider.
I had 2 Gibsons with the 60's thin profile neck, and couldn't...
My 77 TransAm was Killer. The car was great, but my 2019 Shelby GT350 is a Beast.
As far as guitars go, they're made of wood. Let's see the grain. I know they're classic, but I never liked the Gold Top LP's for that reason.
Mine were all bursts.Whatever floats your boat.
I passed by a Faded Blue Jeans with a killer top because it had a black back. I have a 594 S2 in Elephant Gray with a black back, but would never get a Core with a black back. I gave up on black cars and trucks years ago.
Yeah, I name my guitars. After my dogs past and present. Core only.
I recently got a new Lab pup so I had to get a guitar to go along with him. He joins his brothers and sisters Lucy, Abby, and MoMo.
If you're talking about the tone pots, They're not hard to find. I used Bourn push/pull pots and took the resistors off the original pots and re soldered them to the new pots.
I have 2 S2 594's. As soon as I got them, I replaced the pots and switch. It's an easy job if you can use a soldering iron. I also tossed out those Korean pups and put Duncan Whole Lotta Humbuckers in. For about $300 each I have 2 great guitars. Don't look as pretty as my Cores, but I don't...
Have a regular McCarty and bought a 594 S2 just for the hell of it. Now 5 594's later (2 S2's and 3 Core), I sold my LP 59 & 60 Reissues and my SG (60's neck). The 594 is the most comfortable neck for me. I have big hands, but not long fingers. Thin necks make me cramp up.
