Toggle. I hate my blade switch, except for my SS. It makes sense to have it there.
If I was just playing in my house it wouldn't matter, but for gigging simpler is betterer!
I hear what you are saying, I have a Friedman BE 50 DLX and a Marshall JVM 100.
BUT, I also have a Friedman JJ Jr that kills. It does everything. BEST bang for the buck. If the house burnt down and I had to rebuy my gear that would be the one.
Phillip McKnight, who I watch a lot, is all about budget gear. Sure he has a few high end things but he is all about price.
If you buy one of these and get a decent deal they are priced fairly for the market. I like them but do not love them as I am a CU24 guy. The black and white Dog Hair...
I had leg issues with my SCT. I bought Gibson BB's and had to mod the neck space. It was worth it as I love that pup there. Ended up pulling the BB2 in the bridge for a Suhr Aldrich which has stayed.

I have not, much to my dismay, found a PRS pup that speaks to me.
Loved the HFS and when the 5708 came out I thought that might be THE ONE. Love the clarity but it was not hot enough for me.
The Suhr Aldrich pups give me the best of both. Heat and clarity. They are rated high on DCR but it is...
I have had numerous sets of these and they really vary widely. One of the things that I hate about them.
I originally was going to put them in all of my guitars and now have them in only one. The best of the best. Thinking about switching them out as well.
He has said that in essence he hated them. Lifeless and NO soul was pretty much it. For me, that means he hates them.
He is young enough to think anything vintage is great...
I am a Friedman / Marshall guy. The Placater Dirty - I use it for 95% of all our songs with varying amounts of reverb and delay and boost depending on the Snapshot. Very simple set up.
