I love the weight and size of my SSH The reason I was talking about weight is the Silver Sky I saw online was really light...6.8 and was surprised it was so light. I like the idea of have a really light Strat type guitar after having my Special for a while though.

I just weighed my SSH and my Strat. My SSH weighs 6lb 7oz and my Strat weighs 7lb 8oz. I was way off on both.

I was just checking out the Silver Sky options on the Sam Ash website since I am going there to try one out. They have one weighing in at 6 lbs 8.1 oz. That seems crazy light. I think by SSH is 8 lbs. My Strat is probably 8-9 lbs.

My Special Semi-Hollow came with a black case, but I was really impressed with the look/quality. I thought it was better than the American Elite Tele and American Professional Strat came with.
