I'm actually looking for comparisons between the LT and the LT+ on the double cut. My preference is to find a 594 w/ LT pups, but I keep finding guitars that I'm attracted to with LT+. In particular are LT pups closer to vintage PAFs (low output); how much more output to the LT+ pups have?

I've been looking at new 594 double-cuts. Some come with straight LT pups, some with LT+. I had thought PRS had reserved the LT+ pups for the single-cut 594s. Any comments on LT vs LT+ on the double-cut guitars?

Does anyone know why the 2021 594s switched from Phase III locking tuners to the Kluson-type? Personally I prefer locking tuners for ease of use. Perhaps it has to do with supply chain problems during the pandemic?

So it sounds like the TCI process makes more *repeatable* pickups, and those pickups are modeled after what PRS considers its "best" or "most desirable" output.

I own 3 PRS guitars, all purchased used from Reverb. 2 of the 3 have comfortable necks but the third is not comfortable. Is there a way to get the serial #'s to Shawn and ask if he can research the neck carves?
