Like fender1punk above, I too have a 50th anniversary strat. It's sunburst with rosewood finger board. I replaced the pickups with EMGs and presence control. I can dial in strat to humbucker sounds, and anything in between. It is perfect for any style of music. I love it.

You can't compare the two. They are totally different! One is a long long time ago and the other is the 23rd century. The only thing they have in common is the word "Star" in the title.

Someone mentioned Asia when talking about Yes. I really liked Asia back in the early 80's. GTR was a mix of Yes and Genesis and that album was pretty good.
