That’s a heck of a nice Paul’s Guitar. Congrats!
Beautiful guitars! Would you mind listing the weights for each, please? Thanks!!!
None really. Orlando sucks for guitar stores. And I was never a fan of sound4less. They didn’t take trade-ins and weren’t willing to negotiate on...
I have and love both. If I could only have one of the two it would be the SSH though. Just a super, super flexible guitar.
My CU22 Special Semi Hollow handles high gain tones quite well. No issues.
More solid colors (especially powder blue, and different metallic finishes)
Hollow body II Trem
CU24 stop tail
I understand the rationale for the change. That said, I'll take tuning stability any day over the more vintage look and likely undetectable...
I agree. And if you use them primarily in humbucking mode, the new ones won’t really even matter. I mean it sounds good on paper to be able to...
While I’m sure a lot of people will appreciate the 2020 specs, I personally also love the previous model. The main reason is the phase III locking...

594 Singlecut Semi Hollow
Mint green guard
Brazilian rosewood board
I'm considering adding a McCarty 594 Hollowbody or Hollowbody II to the mix. I love light guitars because of a bad back but I despise neck dive....
Black gold wrap burst
Solid colors (especially goldtop, powder blue and white)
No issues with hum or any volume or tone loss across positions with my 22 SSH.
I too would like a core PG. Hopefully they make more of them.
I'll save the OP some time; Brian's and BCR don't have any core Paul's Guitars in stock.
