I personally love the 4 knob layout with selector switch, so the 594 is ALMOST my perfect guitar... my only complaint with it is that I wished it was the same thinner thickness of the Customs. I tried to order a Private Stock as a CU24 with the 594 controls, they said no, so I asked about a 594...

Dangit! Another PS with options I was told they couldn't do! The zebra pickups on that beach cross fade. That's 2 PSF's in a row! LOL I'm just being a spoiled brat.

I also had a '12 P22, mine didn't have the 53/10's I don't think, the card just said "P22" pickups, whatever that was at the time. Definitely thicker than a CU22. I think you'll love it, I kick myself every day for not keeping it!

maybe so... these weren't anything fancy, just different than what's normally done... a dealer specific inlay on the headstock and a skunk stripe on the back of the neck. But, hopefully everything will get back to "normal" one day.

I ordered a PS a few months ago, but had to change directions. I wanted a Custom 24 but with the 4 knob controls like a 594, they said no to that. Then I asked about a 594 with a thinner body, no again. Heck, they wouldn't even do zebra bobbins for the pickups. But they would do some special...

yeah I know it won't be finished in order, but I'm excited that there's some in the finishing stage not too far ahead of mine, so maybe mine has been started... Does anyone know if they start soon after the number is handed out? Or could it still be months afterwards... I expect at least a year...
