Also this PS guitar drooled over this for years and years, maple heaven <3
I would sell mine and your gran for one of these haha

There's some seriously tasty PRS guitars out there with serious price tags or artist-specific only. If you could have any one or two of there's guitars what would you go for?
My shout would be for the 20th anniversary two-headed fighting dragons and Daniel Johns from Silverchair green PRS...
I forget split coils are there most of the time. I'd probably reverse the coil so it's humbucker first and pull out for single coil. I mean id need to play the guitar first to know, I might love it as is. But unless I'm playing something single-coil specific id just stay on a humbucker normally.
Thats cool that he can wind just from sound.
I've always wanted some of the music man axis pickups but made for a single cut away guitar. Obviously, the only way you can get a set of the originals is from a Musicman axis which they sound mind-blowing in but put em in an SC guitar they suddenly...
Well, ill have a look into the company and see what it's all about first.
Tho the consensus seems to be it's a very good pickup company.
Ill have to email him as I'm in the UK and call charges are pretty high.
Timbre wolf sounds awesome from the website sample they have.
Agreed maple necks are tougher to make.
However I would still be happy to pay a bit more on a basic core maple neck custom or McCarty rather than the price of a wood library just to get one tho.
If and when I buy a Hiland ill give the pups a try before swapping. I just think that single-coil neck thing will annoy me pretty quickly that's all. So it may be keep the pickups bin the coil-split or something like that.
Same here now, it has been a long time since I had any guitars stolen but...
wow, so Wolfetone do custom-wound pickups? tbh i don't know a lot about the company at all.
Sounds like the general consensus PRS wise is 59/09s or 57/08s
Agreed I wasn't saying I need a pickup that sounds exactly like this. But as hot as that and the LTs don't really do that. The 57/08s are a good shout!
Ive just had a look at their specs and not far off the ball park I'm looking for and they're actually available and for sale currently which is...
I looked at the M pickups but thought they looked way too hot. Plus if I'm going that hot the Tremontis
look pretty awesome also. Its always difficult to know what will work just through a youtube recording. Ill definitely try to find a few artists rocking the M pickups and see.
Id be reluctant to sell the original LT+s as I've got a single-cutaway guitar I was thinking about putting em in as the +s were specifically designed for those kinds of guitars to simulate a vintage less paul sound specifically.
Plus I've no plan to ever do it but should I ever need to sell my...
Hi peeples
I bought a wood library custom 24 last year. It came with 85/15 lt+ pickups in it.
I've tried really hard to love them and got say low output/cleans they're amazing. However, once I put some gain into it I'm always left just a bit disappointed tonally. I just don't get that kick in...
