Not to hijack this thread, but I have two Silver Skies, a '19 (rosewood) and a '22 (maple).. I much prefer the smaller frets on the '19. Did any of the maple fretboard years have the smaller frets, or were they always larger frets on the maple fretboards?

Love my 2019 rosewood board SS, finally got to play a maple board in a store yesterday, and now I am formulating acquisition plans... for whatever reason, the maple board one seemed to have a little more fight to it, but it could also be because of the old strings and it hanging on the NYC...

I'm determined to buy a Vela before the end of the month. I've been waffling a bit thinking of some other guitars I do fancy, but I had a Vela and let it go, and getting one back has really just stuck in my mental craw.
