NEW COLOUR ALERT
Now that’s a nice finish! Vintage Olympic white ish?!?!
Are finishes like sunburst, fiesta red, sonic blue on the horizon (pun intended?!) now???
Dude I think I can understand what you're trying to say even without having gotten my own Sky yet.
From the vids I watched, it seems like the sky is one of those guitars where you can just grab and pull off/cover a lot of Ground without having to worry about using another guitar.
But with that...
Everything in me wants to like it, bond with it and keep it. I hope it'll be that way when I eventually get mine. And it's tungsten.
I've never owned a strat proper so I don't know what to expect.
Sorry for a change of topic but if there was just ONE thing I could change aesthetically... it would be the heel/end of fretboard area after the last fret. I like S-style guitars to have the curved kind and T-style ones to have the straighter edge ones. Just looks better to me, haha!
Then again...
Yup thanks for being honest. I have the same experience as well and that no brand is 100% perfect in 100% of their guitars. The better ones have a higher % of consistency.
Can't wait to hear your experience with the Silver Sky, especially after returning your 594.
Anyone else other than me:
1) craved for a DGT after watching Rob Harris play one?
2) feels that the Silver Sky is the perfect instrument for the style Rob plays?

Anyone saw this vid of JM himself playing the Sky straight into the board?
Ya of course it doesn't sound superb, but for a dry sound it's great. And... He's got chops!!!!
Another comparison vid of a dude who's lucky enough to own both the Fender BLK1 JM Sig and the Silver Sky. At around 8 mins they speak in English.
Quoting him ".. They (PRS) took the original strat and made it perfect..."
