So I'm thinking about trading my NOS ME 1 for a McCarty 594 with a rosewood neck. I haven't played a 594 but with all the rave about them I kind of feel compelled to jump in. Let me know what you all think. Thanks.

I just saw a video with mark tremonti and in it he says something about working on a signature amp with PRS based off of the Archon

Try the PRS \m/ pickup. That's what I have in my PS running into my archon. Killer tone. Sound man told me at last show he just put my eq at noon the whole way across the board. He's not the first to tell me my tone is pretty good

I gig with my private stock because I had it made to the specs that I love most so why not. To me it's meant to be played. Just my two cents

Actually Vaughn I'm running everything in front at the moment. I just wanted to get it all hooked to make sure the cable for channel switching worked correctly. The Es-8 is limitless I haven't even began to explore all the options but I will say it was worth every penny.
