They were also used in the 2016 SE Custom 22

I agree with the comments about the pickups, the neck is a fantastic "PAF" style pickup but the bridge is just too hot, it features a really thick ceramic magnet - maybe...
Yeah I know what you mean about the NC part.
I'm lucky that all the work on mine was done before we knew the truth about him.
Just get some vinyl and do a overlay on both the body and headstock - cheap and simple, problem solved.
Beautiful goltops guys, may you all enjoy them in good health for many years to come.
Now ee just need a moon inlay McCarty SE.
As a couple of you have noticed on this model and other trem fitted SE's a minor problem is the strings can bind in the block. For anyone thinking of replacing the...
Okay so having a little free time over the weekend I decided it was modding time again. Originally I didn't think there would be anything I would change on my new SE Hollowbody II Piezo? After chatting to my son and having a look through my parts drawers we decided a few cosmetic changes...
I have four core models (all stock) left to right 2006 CE-24 mahogany, 2001 Standard 22, 2001 McCarty, 2015 McCarty
I have 8 SE's in total
2011 Bernie Marsden #1 (European only first run)
2011 Bernie Marsden #2 (European only first run)
2012 Bernie Marsden #3
2016 Chris Robertson (Eyropean...
Now your hooked there's no going back.
You need to try and find the ultra rare 53/10 version (only 50 made for the UK market)
I saw on one of your other threads that you said yours were all pretty light weights.
Mine weigh =
The 2 original 1000 piece run models
#1 (McCarty mods) Red Bernie...
The goldtop is actually just a run of the mill 2012 model that I covered in gold vinyl - similar to the vinyl headstock overlays I've done. I love goldtop singlecuts and while PRS had released a limited edition Bernie in gold, I don't like the gold back and neck.
It also features core hardware...
Does anyone have a picture of the underside of the 85/15LT S pickups? I was told by the store that my new Hollowbody II piezo had 58/15LT S pickups but the reading seem a little high for low turn pickups 8.3k Bridge 7.4K Neck.
heres the labels on the under of my pickups.
Neck Pickup
Bridge...
Okay folks, so first confession time I really shouldn't be allowed near the internet when I'm stressed. This last 15 months have been a laugh a day:rolleyes:, my wifes death, covid and the cost of living crisis have all taken their toll on me. Through it all I've been more blessed than some in...
Bernies are actually 24.5" scale length. Glad you enjoying the Bernie, I honestly think that these were the best SE guitars that PRS put out at the time. Its just a shame that paul didn't come to a deal with Bernie over a core production model other than the 6 that were made for the UK.
Congrats Lew that's a beautiful Bernie, that finish look like the ones on mine, is it a L serial number? The examples I've seen of the first European run all seem to have a similar faded iced tea sunburst (maybe they were trying to copy the Beasts colour) May you enjoy it in good health for many...
Five years after it's discontinuation, the Bernie SE still seems to be one of the must get "or at least try" SE's PRS have ever produced. Search through the various Forum and you'l loads of threads such "just bought a Bernie "Freakin Awesome" or "should I pull the trigger on a Bernie"
Here's...
Congrats on the Bernie, they truly are special. Those 300 were the final run and were the only ones to features a satinized neck. We need pictures of the full guitar.
Also don't forget to add it to this thread (this gold for any other Bernie's that haven't been added yet)...
That serial number indicates its a 2011 (L Series) which would make it part of the 1000 piece Europen only first run. I have 2 of these and 1 from the 2012 full production year.
The necks on that first limited run were slightly different PRS's standard wide/fat profile as they were scanned...
Yeah it's from a place called designdivil.
https://designdivil.com though I got mine through their eBay store https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175578240636?var=474922973731.
They have some fantastic designs and are fairly easy to apply as long as you go slow and steady.
If you get the larger sized...
