Hi,
I just bought a used 2000 Mcarty with a Duncan bridge and a Dimarzio next pickup and I think something is off with the push pull.
Shouldn’t the coil tap with the 3 way in the middle be hum free? I’m still hearing 60 cycle hum.
Any help would be appreciated.
I get a serious volume boost when i turn on my Boss BF-2 in the loop of the MT-15... this didn't happen on my Mesa.... anyone else seeing this? If not, what Flanger are you using?
Thanks
Update
I've messed around with my setup on the weekend and i can isolate it to the Flanger. For some reason the loop doesn't agree with it so i might need to run it out front or look at another brand.
I get a huge volume jump when using my Boss BF-2 flanger in the loop and i'm thinking the loop might be line level? If so, this is disappointing... most people are using pedals these days and the amp should have been built around that.
Hi,
Does anyone know the gauge of string the slots are pre-cut too?
Also, do you think the slots are deep enough that you could just remove material from the bottom of the nut to adjust height?
Thanks
Hi Guys,
I just wired up my CE22 with this wiring and i'm hearing 60 cycle hum when i split the humbuckers....is this normal? I'm pretty sure it's normal but i wanted to be sure.,
Thanks
One of The Tragically Hip guitarists used an old CE in their final concert last Saturday on CBC. The singer has brain Cancer and it was possibly their last show ever.... 11 Million Canadians tuned in.
Hi,
I like the bar just snug enough so it doesn't swing freely when i play and i don't like it pushed all the way down the plastic sleeve so it has more height when i use it.... i find as i play the bar pushes down deeper in the sleeve and i'm left with no room to maneuver.
Does anyone else...
I usually try to go for an old VH type tone... not too bright and not muddy. My biggest fear would be that the Dragons would be muddy.
I've been thinking about the 59/Custom hybrid but a new one will cost me the same as the Dragon 2 set.
