Hey guys thought I drop a little funky riffing. Using my single cut loaded with 57/08 pickups into a Friedman modded Marshall SL100 w/ TC Electronic G System for delay. Sounds crunchy!
Also to add I recorded this video to test out my Emperor cab that I stuffed with foam. The speakers are...
Very sweet box man! I like to keep my picks under the coach and in old jean pockets. Sometimes when I'm looking for a pick under the coach cushion I find some weed too, and that's just a find on its own man
Hey I have a few cu24s with floyds and I personally love them. Actually I've got floyds in all my PRS guitars, it's something that I can't do with out now. The sound is similar but the feel is way different. I'd totally recommend it, I think you'll like it a lot.
I love the 59/09 set, probably my favorite out of the PRS line. You might also give the 57/08 a try, I feel like they sound more vintage. Just to add, I have a CE24 with a 59 in the bridge and 57 in the neck, really a great combination. A 57/08 in the neck sounds soo good, coil tap sounds huge.
I had an Ampete 222, allows you to switch between two outputs, and two effects loops: that I found very useful when running effects loop. Yeah kinda expensive but very useful, but also takes only one rack space. I've tried the Radiohead bone, and that had issues, plus your going to have some...
My Marshall will always sound likes Marshall and I'm OK with that. But for me personally, I've noticed that sure tubes change the sound but it's subtle like Les said. What I notice the most is how "feel" of the amp changes, as that to me can be the big difference.
