Yep. I actually bought it online for a great price as part of my agreement with my wife of "one in, one out" when I sold my Custom 24. Then the buyer on the Custom backed out, so I returned it locally after 2 weeks. Of course, my Custom ended up selling shortly after. The local store wouldn't...

I went in thinking I would swap the pickups out, but love them. They clean up surprisingly well too. I have sold off the rest of my guitars and have the Waring and a DGT. All my bases are covered with them.

Did they update them? Thought they were the same?

Outside of the birds, the only change I'm aware of are the knobs have higher friction so they don't move as easily on the newer ones. I prefer mine (2018)

I've spent some time with that DGT. Great example of the line!

I'm toying with swapping the bone nut on my DGT to the synthetic. First PRS I've had with trem tuning issues. And yes - I've done nut sauce, filing, graphite, etc. Just not worth the headache when I know there's a perfectly good solution available.

That makes sense. Right now I'm just pulling up slightly on the trem after a divebomb and it seems to pop back in perfectly.

That's a bummer. I've never had an issue with their synthetic nut - just the bone one. I will say the nut sauce took care of it for me though.

I've been playing PRS for 30 years with no issue. Agree on the trems. Guitar's only 2 months old. Original string gauge. New strings since I wanted to see if that was the issue. Chalking it up to the bone nut and heavier G string gauge on this model. Maybe they wanted to truly embrace the Gibson...

I did put some pencil lead in the nut, which seems to be working. I'll get some nut sauce for it too. It's odd - it would drop pitch after bends, but go sharp after whammy dives.

Thanks for all the advice! I've done most of these already, but will give it another go since I do love everything else about this guitar.

It's unwound. I've had it for about a month, so the strings are definitely stretched out by now.
