    Alternate tunings on floating tremolo

I copied a factory feature from my EC "Blackie" Stratocaster, and all EC Strats (yes, there's a Fender trem arm in the case) share when they leave Corona, CA: a small-ish block of alder in the bottom of the spring cavity and the tremolo block. This converts it to a 'hard tail' - totally...

Not the run-of-the-mill model, very nice indeed. I like the slash inlays.

New here and new PRS owner

I can only mirror what the rest of the lads have stated previously: Welcome, and yes PRS is an addictive drug. This guitar is only the first. I currently have four PRS guitars (and a smattering of other brands), and my son has one PRS. We're keeping it all in the family.

    Another trip to Ft. Wayne

I've purchased seven guitars from Sweetwater, they all arrive in great condition, set-up properly, even in tune. Their service is beyond reproach. I always deal w/Jeff - he saves me a bit of coin . When I ordered my '21 Zack Meyer blue SC it was sold out, but he sourced one from someone...

    Random. No more or less

Formerly of AB. I actually miss the climate: warm dry summers/cold clear winters. Now I live in Pacific Northwest (US), Rains a lot, but whenever the sun does come out it's stunningly beautiful. I live here now for family reasons.

I think if Loreena had her wits about her, instead of tossing the offending member in a vacant field, she never should've left home. She should have put it in the blender and punched the puree button ! Then there would no way for him to be a member.

Welcome. I would hazard a guess & say you're in good company. The guitar in not much like piano, violin, cello, saxophone, or flute. Where one quite normally goes to a classically trained teacher & takes lessons for multiple of years. Many of us pine away for our 1st guitar, then it's a...

    Serious self esteem question.....

About the only time too much java is not my Best Friend. Get your 1st cup of the day if you partake of caffeine, then just H2O for balance of the day. Repeat all successive sessions. Also, avoid most sweets. Otherwise, play your part(s) in the band ~ wear your hat so to speak. + What Fragile &...

2021 PRS SE Zach Myers Pickup Rings? And Full Modification Update

I have the Classic Copper Deluxe Roadhouse Strat. I actually love the S1 (push-push) & the V6 rotary tone knob features. (All three of my Fenders have maple fret boards.) There's actually not much that I'd complain about. I Love/Hate the old school Big Head Stalk. I know that I'm swimming...

New SE, pitch goes way higher everytime using tremolo arm for G and B strings

If you are some what mechanical, regular cleaning & conditioning of the fret board, frets, nut & bridge is a fabulous habit to develop. Many of us older mongrels have our coveted personal rituals that we go through on a (semi) regular basis. It seems the more guitars one own, the 'more regular'...

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest of North America. My first personal introduction to PRS was in the autumn of 2011. I was/am the proud owner of a Fender E.C. "Blackie" Stratocaster, amongst a handful of others. I asked my young son if he'd like an electric guitar for Christmas. He said he...
