Many like them. Brian at Guitar Sanctuary is great and Doug at wildwest has a great eye and I think does more builds than anyone.

Thank you so much for your input.

I will talk to wildwood guitars about it.

I've heard they are great dealers to order a private stock.

the rest of what I was saying...

If you are budgeting 13-14 grand, you can probably go to the factory to talk to Paul yourself and he can show you some samples and explain the process. If you become comfortable proceed. You can build a very nice guitar within that budget.

It is hard for me to comment without seeing what you are trying to achieve. They can do very good things with colour, but I would want to talk to Paul Miles directly. I have asked him for colouring that we agreed he couldn't do. They have a good process for layering colours that can give very nice affects blending colours. If you have a good quality photo of what you are trying to reproduce you should share that with Paul Miles (which you probably have to do through your dealer). You are welcome to send it to me, or post it in the thread you started, and I will tell you if I have seen something along those lines or have talked about that type of thing with Paul already.
Persoanlly, I would want to talk to Paul directly. I declined a build because I wasn't comfortable that what I was looking for had been clearly communicated to the private stock team...to long continued

I posted a thread and I was wondering, there are many colors in finished top right? I mean there are deeper color, lighter looking part of a guitar and it's not just one color they have to match. It has to be multiple color. How should I tell them(PS people) this? Can they replicate the entire color? Grains don't have to match, it's just color I have sickly worried about. if I am going to shell out 13-14 grand then, the finished guitar should be to my liking.
