You might not even have to do a truss rod adjustment. Even if you do, it's simple and wont require more than a 1/4 turn. PRS necks are very stable and they respond easily and quickly to even small truss adjustments.
I installed Core rings on my Paul Allender SE. the holes line up correctly but you’ll have to do a little wood filling if you want to use the USA style screws. I just broke off a little bit of a toothpick and it worked fine.
Look at the orange peel on the headstock face. That and the crooked logo tell me that someone redid the headstock. Take off the tuners, wetsand and buff it out and it'll look much better.
Right! I grew up working on cars so I figured it can’t be *that* hard. It wasn’t! I highly recommend every player learning how to level and dress frets. There is simply no better ‘mod’ you can do to a guitar to improve its sound and playability.
Yes, this guitar came with an EMG 81TW and an EMG 89, both of which are splittable. The switch to EMG's was around '09 or '10. This version is a '14 and it was the last year of production and the only year for this color.
