Nope. Try Ernie Balls Slinkys. Never have a problem with them. I use a 1.00 pick and slam the stuffing out of strings. Only cost you a little time and about $4.

Yes it certainly is nice to have a gig. Thanks. BTW- for "gush"... my new group does not want me to use any reverb or overdrive. Clean, baby clean. Seems like all the fx are handled by the keyboard and bassist. Nice for a change however.
