I love the bare wood on mine. Both my keisels are tung oiled and i love them. My gibson are still finished neck but what ever gibson uses doesn't recact to my hand like the PRS finish does.

I had my SC250 sanded down to the wood and tung oiled. Huge improment in my eyes. Mine was painted black and would get so sticky.

hey guys im having a issue with my guitar, the bridge pick up is almost unusable. Ive tried to lower it i set it to the PRS specs, had it set up by a few guys with the PRS specs. It is very brittle and does not like the line 6 xt pro at all. I also have issues with it on my mesa boogie DC-5 it...

Mine are the SC250 set, hopefully I just need to lower them a bit more. Mine are muddy, almost like there to hot.

is anyone having issues with the bridge pickup? I have mine adjusted to spec and it's so muddy that I reach for a different guitar. I don't have this issue with any of my others including the other Prs i have ( sunburst 22 57/08). I'm guessing that I have to lower it some more.

i finally got run it through my rig, this guitar sounds huge!!!! probably the thickest sounding guitar i ever played, much thicker than my les paul. i put the ernie ball cobalt strings on it so that could be contriuting to the sound. it quickly moved into my number one.

i picked this up today off reverb. 2008 SC 250, i should receive it some time next midweek. really looking forward to playing this thing. this will be my second PRS, the first is a sunburst 22 in a satin finish.
