What is the Warmoth fret size closest to the S2 Custom 24?

For a while now, when I twist the volume knob on my guitar, its causes this unpleasant crackling... Kind of like brushing a newspaper against your ear... I've taken it to the shop and they've always told me to apply some Deoxit. Its worked a few times but I'm pretty sure it's an electronic issue...

Looking for some new pickups to put in my S2 Custom 24. I play rock, blues, gospel, funk, worship. Looking for a good, strong sound. Looking for better sustain... My overdrive tone is similar to Mark Lettieri's. What do you like, dislike, prefer etc about each of these pickups? Thanks!!

I’ve seen many used prs guitars on reverb from 1995 and even below that still sell for a considerable price... I was originally looking for something no older than a 2007ish model, but what do you think? Are there any risks in getting a 20-year-old guitar?
