There are plenty of good cleaners out there. Anything made for guitars will probably be fine. A body finished with polyurethane is going to keep looking new for years to come.

    Santana Masterclass Guitar

How was the Santana Masterclass for those of you who did it? What playing level is it? What would you say that you learned?

There are too many variables for someone on a forum to be able to answer. All single coil guitars will produce some amount of noise especially when the volume is up high, but the problem could be instrument cables, patch cables, pedals, the pedals' power supply, the amp itself, the power in the...

I'm guessing they will rotate colors in different years the way most manufacturers do.

I remember seeing a video or something where PRS said that the reason they don't use stainless frets is because PRS specs a fret wire that's significantly harder than what other manufacturers use, so there is really not much of a compromise. I'm surprised to hear that any one person would be...

Have any of you noticed the feel of the neck changing as the finish on it breaks in? I've heard that PRS Guitars are like this, but I know on my Fenders with a nitro finish, even on those with a lot of miles on them it takes a long time.

Yeah, the dryer sheet trick might alleviate it for a moment, but the next time you drag your finger over the pickguard it will still begin static-ing again. I haven't tried covering the underside of the pickguard with Bounce as others have suggested yet, but really... should we have to do...

I have had strats that were staticy in that way before when it was dry, but it would be along the neck and along the body as well. With the Silver Sky it's just the pickguard. (It's also not dry yet, my Fender has no issues with static at all when swapped into my rig.)

They seem like great tuners to me. Rock solid tuning.

Well, I'm still having a ton of static issues with my Silver Sky, even though it's one of the ones that has the copper shielding tape between the pickup screws and the part of the pickguard that's foil-shielded. I'm disappointed to have spent the amount of money a Silver Sky costs (even used)...

Hey all - sorry if this has already been posted. Has anything been posted as to what the factory setup specs are for the Silver Sky? I want to make sure that as the guitar ages or maybe shifts over time with the seasons, that I can keep it in adjustment exactly as it came from the factory...
